The Joint Regional Seminar (JRS) is an annual Life and Health Insurance event coorganised by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and Actuaries Institute with the support of the local actuarial societies in the region. Reaching to over 1,000 actuaries, it is designed to assist actuaries and other professionals to gain insights across the APAC markets and support their continuous professional development (CPD) requirements.
For each jurisdiction, the JRS will comprise of a regional program and local program. Topics selected for the regional program will be delivered virtually from Hong Kong. Each local society will then host their own local program.
The regional program will be delivered online to actuaries in participating jurisdictions, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Bangkok on 25 July 2023 (Tue)
The Hong Kong program will be held in person at The Eaton Hotel hosted by the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong on 26 July 2023 (Wed).
Hong Kong registration is inclusive of the Regional Program.
