| Chairperson, ASHK GI Committee Senior Treaty Underwriter, AXA XL Reinsurance (China) Company
Trinity is Senior Treaty Underwriter with XL Reinsurance (China) focusing on treaty underwriting and portfolio management for China businesses. She has been Vice President with Peak Reinsurance with the Markets team mainly focusing on Australia, China and Japan Markets, and with the Analytics team taking care of pricing and other analysis for all lines of businesses around the region. Prior to that, she also held multiple roles with Willis Re and Tower’s Watson. Trinity has been serving ASHK’s committees since 2008 and became Council Member and the Chairperson of Non-Life Committee since 2016. Trinity received her degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Hong Kong. |
| Under Secretary for FSTB, Government of Hong Kong SAR
Mr Chan was appointed the Under Secretary for FSTB in 2017. He was a Managing Director at Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, and was a Managing Director at Standard Chartered Bank. Prior to joining the Government, Mr Chan held multiple roles in organisations, including Vice President of the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts, Director of Hong Kong Securities & Investment Institute, Advisor of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society, as well as a General Committee member of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. Mr Chan was also a District Council Member. Mr Chan holds a BA in Economics and Psychology from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Wong is responsible for delivering strategic insights on economic, insurance and emerging risks to the company and its key stakeholders. He also oversees the development of thought-leadership content for Peak Re. Before joining Peak Re, Mr. Wong worked at Swiss Re, where he last served as the Chief Economist, Asia. Prior to that, Mr. Wong was at HSBC’s economic research department, worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in its management consulting arm, and in the R&D department of Hutchison Trading Ltd. Mr. Wong has a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Hong Kong. |

Janet has over 15 years of actuarial experience in (re)insurance industry in North American and China, and held various senior roles in reinsurance actuarial consulting, direct pricing, reserving and portfolio management. She has extensive knowledge on China/Hong Kong regulations. She is the local subject matter expert on CAT bond and providing support to GC Securities for originating ILS transactions. |
| Senior Insurance Solutions Manager, Munich Re
After 8 years in primary insurance, holding various positions related to actuarial functions, Thibault joined Munich Re as part of the Global Consulting Unit. He is leading the EV proposal for Global Consulting Unit and regularly presents and write articles related to this topic. His latest contribution to the topic can be found in the January issue of the Asia Insurance Review. Thibault hold a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne. |

Before joining Munich Re, Elliott spent 2 years at Primary Insurance companies in China Mainland responsible for Health business, and 8 years in a consulting firm based in London and New York, specialized in pricing, underwriting, risk, and portfolio management in commercial and specialty lines of business. Elliott holds a Master of Science in Management, from London School of Economics. |

Jenny currently oversees claim, actuarial, risk management, and legal functions. Before joining BOCGI, Ms. Lai worked as the Asia regional chief actuary of Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance. Before that, Ms. Lai was the sales and practice leader of Towers Watson leading its general insurance consulting business in greater China. Ms Lai also worked for Ernst & Young and The Hartford Financial Group in United States. Ms Lai graduated from University of Waterloo with a Masters Degree in Actuarial Science.

He graduated from Macalester College, US, with double majors in Economics and Applied Mathematics. |

As the Property & Casualty IFRS 17 APAC Regional Proposition Leader, Justine drives IFRS 17 initiatives and strategy, and engaged by key P&C entities on IFRS 17 implementation. |

Andrew is responsible for strategy and managing the customer engagement team that services insurers across Asia. He is currently focused on addressing the climate and ESG needs of insurance companies in the region with software and services developed in collaboration with customers. He holds the Sustainability and Climate Risk Certificate from the Global Association of Risk Professionals and the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership’s Sustainable Finance certificate. |

He is a recognised expert in insurance pricing as evidenced by being the co-author of the text used by the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) to teach ratemaking to all actuarial candidates. Throughout his career, Geoff has been on the forefront of insurance product innovation. Over the past 15 years, he has helped more than 50 companies around the world launch products leveraging telematics and IoT data. |
| Vice Chairperson, ASHK GI Committee Head of General Insurance Risk, AXA
Xavier is a General Insurance-qualified actuary, currently working in the Hong Kong office of a multinational direct insurer as the Head of General Insurance Risk. He has worked in both the UK and Hong Kong in a range of roles, including pricing, reserving, capital modelling and risk. In terms of companies, he started his career in an actuarial consultancy, and has worked for a broker and a few direct insurers. Xavier graduated from the London School of Economics with a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, and has also graduated from the Imperial College Business School with an MBA. |
