| Fred is the co-Founder & co-CEO of Bowtie, the Hong Kong’s first virtual insurer. Built with modern technology and medical expertise, Bowtie offers life and health insurance protection to customers instantly and directly. Bowtie closed HKD 234 million Series A funding from Sun Life Hong Kong Limited.
Fred is a serial entrepreneur who previously co-founded Coherent Capital Advisors Limited and Seasonalife Limited, two insurtech companies. He has over 13 years of experience in the insurance and consulting in Hong Kong, Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
Fred is a Council Member and Chairman of Insurtech at Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia (IFTA). He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), Honorary Fellow of the Financial Technologists (FFT) and a Member of Insurance Authority’s Future Task Force.
Born in Hong Kong and educated in Canada, he holds a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics (Double Major in Actuarial Science & Statistics) from the University of Waterloo.

| Iris Lun is Co-founder and Director of 10Life, an insurance analytics platform in Hong Kong focused on bringing transparency to consumers. Iris has over 20 years of insurance experience in Asia Pacific and Europe. Prior to starting 10Life, Iris has held various actuarial and non-actuarial positions at global consulting and life insurance companies covering valuation, pricing, product development, risk management and strategic business management. Iris is a Fellow of the Actuaries Institute Australia and holds a combined Arts/ Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne. |
